1994 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur III

Introduced in 1993, the Silver Spur III received several upgrades compared to the previous generation. Redesigned intake manifolds and cylinder heads increased the overall power output. The parameters of the semi-active suspension system were modified so that shock absorbers default into “soft” ride mode when they wore out. Once worn out, Silver Spur IIs were defaulting to “hard” ride mode which was very noticeably harming the ride quality. Dual airbags were added, and the rear seats became independently adjustable.

Outside is finished in a shade known as Dark Oyster. Condition around the outside of the car is solid, and the exterior has very little damage to note. There are chips in the paint in the panel gaps, especially around the doors and the driver’s side front turn signal has cracked, but that’s about it. The paint was evenly applied, chrome around the car is straight and untarnished, the wheels are clean, and the tires look to be in decent condition. Glass around the car is clean and each piece is free of chips or cracks. Overall, this Spur has its imperfections, but addressing all of them will not be a difficult undertaking.

The interior matches the exterior on this Spur. There are very little flaws to point out and the inside is in wonderful condition coming out of storage. The leather front seats show very little signs of creasing and have no holes or tears. The wooden inlays around the car look almost as if they are dripping with varnish. There is a tray in the back seat that small chip in it, but other than that, most of the pieces appear to be unharmed. The dashboard is clean, and all of the gauges mounted within it are clean and easily readable. The black leather-wrapped steering wheel is in solid shape with no apparent threading or deterioration present. The carpets both up front and in the back are neat, and while they do look somewhat out of place, they lay flat in their respective positions for the most part. The Grundig TV in the passenger compartment, while outdated, looks to be in good condition.

We are pleased to report that the undercarriage of this Silver Spur is clean. The frame and floorboards are solid, suspension components are all in their proper place, and the exhaust shows discoloration that is commensurate with the age of the vehicle. Under the hood, all of the various covers are pristine, and we have no reason to believe major damage is hiding beneath them.

Based upon the documents available to us, we gather the seller took ownership of the vehicle in February of 2020.

The Silver Spur available today is in excellent condition. Exterior imperfections are incredibly minor, and the interior is in unbelievably good condition as well. Thanks to fantastic suspension, supremely comfortable seats, and a gorgeous dash, this is a wonderful opportunity to purchase a fantastic Rolls that is both classically styled and new enough to have all of the modern creature comforts you could want at an excellent price.
