The car comes with a history folder, comprising a number of old invoices and bills, as well as an owners’ handbook.
Within the Records section you will find numerous photos of the Stag plus many of the invoices on file. Whilst the information is there, we have found it a little difficult to decipher some of the invoices and their chronology relative to the MOT history so have asked the owner for a summary. In his own succinct words:
"The nearside windscreen wiper was done back in 2014 (MOT dated 26/03/14) along with all the corrosion picked up at the same time at a cost of £584.00
All issues of corrosion as per mot 2015 were also rectified along with other issues at a cost of £963.00.
Back in 2016 the MOT failed the repair that was done 12 months previously. A full repair was carried out under warranty along with some further corrosion treatment. Repairs were also carried out to the wheel bearings and brake hose pipes at a cost of £348.00.
In 2017 we had the bodywork all treated with new door panels and a full respray. The under side of the car was checked for any further corrosion, then taken for mot the car passed with no advisory issues. The car then received waxoyl treatment. The cost of the last repairs and respray was £2750.00.
Over the last three years the car has had over £4500 spent on it.
I would like to think after spending all that money the car is now corrosion free and I would say the last mot would go towards confirming this."
We couldn't have put it better. Of course, questions and viewings are always strongly recommended
