Overview

With just three former keepers, this 2013 MV Agusta F3 675cc has been in careful ownership, which has seen the machine cover a remarkably low 2,730 miles and is reported to have been dry miles in 11 years.

Riding the F3 675 is a thrilling experience. Its compact, sporty ergonomics, coupled with responsive handling and a powerful engine, make it a joy to ride. For those who want to take it to the next level, it also includes four preset maps on a USB, allowing the rider to select their desired choice.

The bike has been with the vendor for approximately five months, and in that time, he has had it fully recommissioned and given a fresh MoT, ensuring it is ready to take to the road. However, this is where it stopped; amazingly, he has not ridden this stunning machine since the recommissioning was carried out.

Exterior

Available in a choice of three colours, this MV Agusta has been finished in the stunning Pearl White / Black and Carbon.
Having only covered 2,730 miles, the condition of the paintwork is excellent. The only mark we noticed was a small chip on the lower section of the fairing right behind the front wheel.

From the front, an optional carbon fibre mudguard has been fitted, and it is in excellent condition. The sharp-looking fairing is also in excellent condition with no splits or cracks. The headlight is free from damage, and the tinted screen is free from excessive scratches. Both mirrors are in good order, with the indicators neatly mounted within them, giving the front of the bike a cleaner, more streamlined look.

The 16-litre fuel tank is free from any dings or dents; this also has a tank guard fitted to help prevent any unwanted scratches. This flows nicely into the rear half of the bike, where the sleek, sharp design continues. The rear light and indicators are in excellent condition.

Fitted with 3.5” x 17” front and 5.5” x 17” rear wheels, these are finished in satin black and appear in good order; however, there is a small amount of blistering on the front wheel. The tyres are Pirelli Diablo Rosso and have a good amount of tread remaining.

Interior

Jump on the F3, and the seat puts you approximately 31.6” from the ground. The seat is in good condition with minimal wear, as expected from the low mileage.

Both grips also have no signs of excessive wear, and a set of shorter race levers have been fitted, but the original ones are included in the sale. There is a minor amount of tarnishing on the handlebars and yoke, but nothing excessive.

The switchgear is in excellent condition, as is the LCD display, which shows the mileage to be 2,730 miles, and no warning lights are displayed.

All four foot pegs, along with the rubbers on the gear and brake lever, have very little sign of use.

Mechanical

One of the most advanced and powerful middleweight engines ever produced, the F3 675cc is an ultra-compact, in-line, three-cylinder engine that perfectly balances cutting-edge mechanical engineering and superb electronic technology. Fitted with the MVICS system, this was the first middleweight motorcycle to offer Full Ride-By-Wire engine controls that feature four pre-set maps, one customisable map, and traction control with eight adjustable levels.

The MV Agusta fires up without hesitation and sounds fantastic, exiting the unique three-tailpipe exhaust system covered with a carbon fibre heat shield. The six-speed gearbox does have a quick shift installed, making for a speedier change, which it does as you would expect.

The chassis of the MV Agusta is incredibly advanced, offering an excellent level of handling in all riding conditions. The frame on the Agusta consists of aluminium coated in black and a steel tubular trellis finished in red. There are signs of blistering to some of the aluminium in places, but nothing excessive.

Adding to the excellent handling package are 43mm hydraulic forks with external and separate damping adjustment, and the rear has a single shock absorber with damping and spring adjustment. When it comes to stopping, this is taken care of by twin four-pot Brembo callipers at the front and a single-piston calliper at the rear; the bike comes to a stop very quickly.

History

The MV Agusta comes with both keys, the all-important genuine USB stick with the different maps installed, and the user manual. Also included is the latest invoice for £1,329.27 for the recommissioning of the bike; it also includes the following parts:

  • Oil filter
  • YTZ 10S Battery
  • Chain
  • Pair of indicators
  • MoT valid till April 2025

Summary

Described by some as one of the most beautiful 600s in the world (who are we to disagree), the MV Agusta F3 675 is a revolutionary machine ideally suited to the rider on the street and track.

The perfect mix of performance coupled with electronic wizardry has made the F3 675 one of the most sophisticated 600s out there of its time, which will be an absolute pleasure to own and enjoy.

Recommissioned and ready to go, we estimate the 2013 MV Agusta F3 675 will fetch in the region of £5,000 - £8,000.
