Background
Engineered and built in small batches by the world-renowned wizards at AMG, the fabled Mercedes-Benz racing/tuning subsidiary located in Affalterbach, Germany, the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series is essentially an FIA GT3 endurance-racing car with license plates. Its visceral driving experience is electrifying in all disciplines, including factory-claimed acceleration from rest to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.2 seconds, backing up the purposeful, projectile-like styling of the vehicle. Just 1,700 of these track-focused, yet startlingly luxurious supercars were produced for the 2021 model year.
