Mark's review

Mark Livesey - Consignment Specialist Message Mark

“ Another outstanding build by Garage 961, the only restoration centre in the world authorised by the Museum Ferruccio Lamborghini. ”

These little tractors were economical, powerful and reliable and would prove ideal for light agricultural users like…. viticulturists, for example.

Background

This Lamborghini 230R is one of the very first examples built.

With only one owner from new (a farmer who worked the land near the hills of Asolo, near Treviso in Italy) it was a true working machine.

After a lifetime of honest labour, this 230R has undergone a complete restoration by Garage 961, the only centre officially recognised by the Museo Ferruccio Lamborghini for historic Lamborghini tractors.

The restoration was carried out with strict historical accuracy, deep respect for originality, and meticulous attention to detail.

It was commissioned by classic collector Ermes Formilan, to return it to its authentic original condition when new.  The work was completed in February 2026.
