RESERVE HAS BEEN LOWERED
Introduced at the 2006 New York Auto Show, the third-generation Jeep Wrangler - designated the JK - was in production for a total of 11 years between 2007 and 2018, evolving through several major facelifts, lineup changes and special editions.
Designed to retain the iconic Jeep utilitarian looks and capabilities but with a complete ground-up redesign over the previous TJ platform, the JK Wrangler was offered in both two and four-door ‘Unlimited’ body shells, with a choice of either a 2.8-litre diesel inline-four, 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 or 3.8-litre EGH v6 engine.
In 2011, the Wrangler received a major mid-life refresh, with a completely new interior appearance, new wheels, redesigned transmission shift interface and other minor aesthetic revisions, yet mechanically the models remained the same.
Whilst the Jeep Wrangler is wonderfully usable and able to deal with inhospitable terrain with ease, they could never be considered luxurious or well-equipped. Thankfully, there are aftermarket customisation companies that address these issues, which is how this CTC Jeep Wrangler came about…
