Background
The Jaguar F-Type is a luxury sports car produced by the British manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover. It made its debut in 2013, reviving the spirit of Jaguar's legendary sports cars like the E-Type. The F-Type is known for its sleek design, powerful engines, and engaging driving dynamics.
Throughout its production run, the F-Type has been offered in various configurations, including coupe and convertible body styles, as well as a range of engines with different power outputs. These engines have included turbocharged four-cylinder engines, supercharged V6 engines, and supercharged V8 engines, delivering power ranging from around 296 horsepower to over 570 horsepower in the most potent versions.
Jaguar is now preparing to go fully electric from 2025, and its F-Type sports car has just one year left before a new range of luxury EV models hits the showrooms. To celebrate 'the end,' the British firm has revealed the final iteration of the car - the F-Type 75.
Designed as a homage to 75 years of Jaguar sports car production, the F-Type 75 variants receive bespoke gloss black 20-inch wheels, double wishbone front and rear suspension, torque vectoring, an electronic rear differential, an eight-speed automatic gearbox, and continuously variable damping.
Sounds amazing? But wait... there is also the R575, featuring Jaguar's supercharged 5.0-litre V8 with 575PS (567bhp) on tap. The supercharged V8 marks the end of an era as Jaguar makes the move to an all-electric future.
