Background
The Bentley Azure debuted in March of 1995 at the Geneva Motor Show. Built specifically to be a convertible-only grand tourer, the Azure is a continent-crushing convertible capable of wafting four large adults across half-a-dozen countries before (a usually largely liquid) lunch.
The car was produced from 1995 to 2003 and received a second generation from 2006 to 2009. The convertible roof was both designed and manufactured by Pininfarina in Italy, yet final assembly still occurred in the UK. This slowed production dramatically, leading to the completion of only nine Azures in the first year, and roughly 251 a year later. Approximately 1,403 examples were constructed during the Azure’s first generation.
